Ontario's main square.

1x2 Network has entered the Ontarian iGaming market with a powerful local partner in the face of 888casino. Moving forward, players who are registered with 888casino will be able to experience a range of games provided by 1x2 Network, which brings titles from its own studios and more.

Among the games that are available are picks such as Wolf Strike, Megaways Jack, 1 Million Megaways BC, and Pirate Kingdom Megaways, with the megaways feature clearly one of the main mechanics that 888casino will be able to offer its players now. 1x2 Network received a license from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario in May 2022, but it has waited until now to secure the right partner.

888casino in the meantime has been up and running since April. Ontario as such is a flagship market in Canada, and the first of all 13 provinces to finally regulate online gambling and make it available to international operators in particular.

The province also has fairly flexible local laws that were mostly ignoring offshore market operations in the past, but with the passage of the new rules this year, operators and suppliers may only launch in the market if they have the necessary AGCO licenses.

The partnership was welcomed by Marketing Director at 1x2 Network Rory Kimber who was pleased to see the company deliver a best-in-class localized gaming experience with one of the most prominent brands in the province. Kimber had this to add, fully aware of the opportunity that Ontario presented to international iGaming companies:

There is so much potential in this market, and it is very exciting that our games are reaching a new audience in Ontario, thanks to our partnership with 888casino.

888casino VP B2C Casino Talya Benyamini was also pleased and said that partnering with suppliers as 1x2 Network, and its game development arms, including Iron Dog Studio, is a tremendous opportunity to add to the vast selection of titles already available at the casino.

"This will enhance our offer allowing us to continue providing unique and exciting experiences to our players in Ontario," Benyamini explained. Ontario is a market that simply beckons. A number of other companies have entered over recent weeks and months. Rivals such as Casumo and NitroCasino broke ground in the province in November and October respectively.
