The Pittsburgh Steelers’ offensive line has gone through changes recently.
This change captured the attention of Alan Faneca, the former Steelers offensive lineman and NFL legend.
In an exclusive interview with Casino Guru News, the legendary football player had this to say: "When I think about this year’s Pittsburgh Steelers offensive line, I think it’s a unit in motion."
Faneca highlighted changes to the offensive line which included taking right side players and putting them on the left side, while also acknowledging the new additions to the right side of the offensive line.
"Everybody likes to always ask offensive linemen: ‘How does all this change affect you? How does it mess with your rhythm and your mojo?’," Faneca explained.
According to the NFL legend, there are two answers to those questions, and both are true.
On one hand, Faneca said that such a change to the offensive line may not bother you at all, and on the other, it may completely mess up your play.
"One is it doesn’t bother you at all, and two is it really messes everything up. It’s somewhere in the middle," the former Steelers offensive lineman said.
The NFL legend pointed to the importance of how teammates are performing. This performance, Faneca said, would determine what answer the offensive lineman would give the reporter.
"I think they’re handling it well because they’ve been doing it all training camp, all offseason, all OTAs, you know. You take the paperwork and throw it out the window. I mean, everything is on the table," Faneca said in conclusion.
