The New England Patriots are facing a difficult stretch that may put them at risk of having a disappointing start of the season. That’s according to Jason La Canfora, an experienced NFL analyst, insider, and reporter.
In an exclusive interview for Casino Guru News, La Canfora raises questions about the team’s performance and defense.
"It’s not out of the realm of possibility that this team is staring at a 0 and 4," the award-winning reporter and insider said early in the interview.
La Canfora continued, outlining that some around the League are questioning whether quarterback Drake Maye can replicate his level of play he demonstrated last year against a stronger competition.
The NFL insider and analyst added that there are questions being asked about the Patriots’ defense as well.
"Do they have enough of a pass rush and can they stop the other team from getting to their quarterback? That’s integral and imperative in winning in the NFL," he said.
La Canfora pointed to the "Super Bowl hangover" and named the challenging upcoming schedule as another reason for caution.
"Then you’ve got Jacksonville, one of the more balanced teams in the AFC. Trevor Lawrence playing great football and that’s not going to be an easy game," the NFL insider and analyst said.
La Canfora highlighted Buffalo as one of the major threats for the Patriots, saying: "And then Buffalo, who dominated this division for years, who want to get back on top, who have Josh Allen perennial MVP candidate, and they can beat you in a shootout."
