NFL insider believes Indianapolis Colts may be approaching a turning point

The Indianapolis Colts are going through a rough stretch with an ongoing losing streak.

The popular NFL team could be approaching a pivotal moment after its 0-2 start in the new football season, and different challenges continue to put pressure on the Colts, Jason La Canfora, an award-winning NFL reporter, insider and analyst, suggests.

"The Colts being 0 and 2. And yes, the schedule has been very daunting, but it’s probably getting late there for General Manager Chris Ballard and Head Coach Shane Steichen," the NFL insider said in an exclusive interview with Casino Guru News.

"Ballard, in particular, there’s people in this League, who are very close to him, who think even Ballard’s surprised that it’s lasted as long as it has, given everything that’s going on there and the lack of overall success," La Canfora continued.

The NFL insider acknowledged several issues that contributed to the Colts’ struggles.

La Canfora explained: "This is a team who has a quarterback in Daniel Jones, who played like an MVP prior to him rupturing his Achilles, but they (the Indianapolis Colts) haven’t won since he got hurt. They haven’t won a ball game since last November."

The League insider and analyst pointed to the Colts’ wide receiver, Alec Pierce, describing him as "one real deep threat." Pierce suffered an injury during the Colts game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, the second loss for the former team since the start of this season.

Focusing on Pierce, La Canfora said the player may remain off the field for "an extended period of time."

The NFL analyst and insider continued: "Keenan Allen had a DUI arrest shortly before the season. His future is now murky. There’s a lot going on there."

According to La Canfora, the Indianapolis Colts couldn’t afford a slow start to the football season. While he acknowledged the Colts faced tough opponents, he pointed to the team defense that had also sustained a hit.

"They don’t have NFL-caliber linebackers right now. The Indianapolis Colts are probably a team that’s going to be making a chance," La Canfora said in conclusion.
