On the other hand, across all prize tiers, Instant Scratch-Its players won more than AU$253m ($167m) in prizes.
When an official from The Lott, contacted the Bendigo man to notify him of the big win, the man was still excited.
"It’s been such a whirlwind of excitement, and things are only just starting to sink in," the winner admitted.
Moreover, the Goldfields resident said: "Funnily enough, I received the ticket as a birthday gift in a card from one of my close mates. What are the odds?!"
Once the lucky man realized he won big, he called his mother to give her the good news.
The winner also agreed to split the prize money with his mom and explained that his life is undoubtedly going to change thanks to this windfall.
Asked about his future plans, the man said that he is looking forward to buying a home and investing part of the prize money to "watch it grow."
However, the first thing he said he will do is to take his family out for tea and celebrate the lottery win.
