A jackpot has been won in Colorado, with the lucky winner becoming $3,120,760 richer off a single draw on Wednesday.
The jackpot was secured from the state’s Colorado Lotto+ drawing and constitutes one of the largest payouts this fiscal year.
The person who won on March 25 may now opt for the annuity option or take a smaller payout for a one-time lump sum payment. If they choose the latter option, they would receive $1,560,380 of the total.
The winning numbers for the draw were 7, 8, 27, 28, 32, and 34, and "Plus" numbers 1, 11, 17, 26, 33, and 39.
The recent win is one of the largest for the fiscal year 2026, but it’s hardly the biggest. A previous win on February 5, 2026, saw someone get a $3,328,106 from the lottery.
Winning the jackpot is still no small order, as the odds are 1 in 3,838,380. The lottery also reminded that every ticket bought goes to help various state projects.
"Every dollar spent on our Jackpot games remains in Colorado to support parks, trails, recreation, open space, wildlife, and access to the outdoors," the lottery said in a statement.
