ARIA Resort & Casino and Aristocrat Gaming have an exciting piece of news to report, with the venue becoming the site of its very first $5,000,000+ progressive jackpot secured on one of the supplier’s Dragon Link games.
The news comes shortly after the MGM Resorts property installed the $5 million Dragon Link games as part of a high-limit room, with the winner securing the seven-figure payout on Wednesday, October 14.
The player, a Las Vegas resident who chose to stay anonymous, had won on the $5,066,400.83 prize on a single $50 bet, making for a fitting way to secure the very first seven-figure prize paid from the new game machines. Commenting on this, ARIA’s President and COO Sean Lanni had this to add:
"Our guests come here expecting the extraordinary and, this week, we delivered on that promise by paying our lucky winner more than $5 million. The opportunity to feature these games at ARIA, Bellagio, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas elevates our gaming floors and gives us the ability to offer our guests a premier, high-energy gaming experience."
Lanni also spoke of the relationship that the venue had with Aristocrat and that the ARIA was looking to build upon this for future projects.
Aristocrat Gaming CEO Craig Toner was similarly pleased with the opportunity to see the game deliver results for guests and the partner so quickly after the original integration with the high-limit lounge.
"This is exactly the kind of moment we envisioned when we introduced the $5 million links," Toner said.
"A jackpot of this magnitude underscores the excitement and potential of these premium experiences. We’re thrilled to see the very first $5 million win happen here at ARIA," he added.
