Zitro continues LatAm push with expansion in Peru

Zitro, the globally recognized entertainment leader, offering Video Slots and Video Bingo games, as well as iGaming content, solutions and systems, announced that its online gaming division, Zitro Digital, is now authorized to operate as an online slots supplier in Peru. The confirmation came last week as the company continues to grow its presence in the Latin American region.

To secure access as a licensed online slot supplier, Zitro Digital was awarded authorization from MINCETUR, Peru's Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism. Deemed as a significant milestone for the company, the authorization propels further its presence in the regulated gambling sector in the country.

Expanding into the digital realm comes at a time when the company already powers many land-based casinos in Peru. Ultimately, becoming a licensed online supplier is expected to propel Zitro's presence in Peru and the region as well, making the company a go-to supplier for the land-based and online gambling vertical.

José Javier Martí, Zitro Digital's COO, shared his excitement about the latest announcement in a statement. "Peru represents a strategic market for Zitro’s continued growth, and we are eager to expand our presence into this newly regulated jurisdiction," he revealed.

Moreover, Martí added: "We are proud to be recognized as a trusted online slot supplier by MINCETUR and look forward to collaborating with Peruvian operators to introduce our online portfolio, including our gamification tools to their players." According to the COO, the wide range of tools will play a key role in the growth of the operators in the region, granting them key advantages and enabling them to stand out from the competition. Finally, Martí said: "Zitro Digital doesn’t just limit itself to making excellent games available to the operator, we accompany them so that Zitro games are presented to the player in the most engaging way possible."

Recently, Zitro reaffirmed its Latin American leadership with several important recognitions. Back in February, the company confirmed that it was recognized in the LatAm Game Performance Report for January 2024 by Eilers & Krejcik – Fantini. The aforementioned report was the first edition for the LatAm region and highlighted the exceptional efforts and experiences of gambling operators who strive to offer unrivaled entertainment.

Within the report, Zitro was recognized as the #1 Overall Supplier by Performance. On the other hand, the company also ranked #1 within the Top NEW Cabinet Ranks, Core: Conditioning on Core cabinets group for its Allure Glare cabinet.
