Yggdrasil, one of the world’s defining studios and game developers, has secured a pivotal milestone by continuing to operate in the Danish iGaming market, where it has been present since 2017, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.
This comes after the company has received an approval from Spillemyndigheden, the Danish gambling regulator, allowing it to remain one of the go-to suppliers in Denmark through 2029 as per the terms of its license agreement with the watchdog.
Commenting on this opportunity, Yggdrasil Chief Commercial Officer Jose Simon said the company was thrilled to kick-start 2025 with such a positive event and showcase its products in Denmark and worldwide.
"As a brand with proud Scandinavian roots, we are extremely proud and wholly committed to continuing to offer Danish operators and their player base top gaming content of the highest quality," Simon added.
Yggdrasil is the author of a range of successful iGaming titles, including Valle of the Gods, Trolls Bridge 2, Easter Island 2, Vikings Go Berzerk, and hundreds more.
The studio has produced north of 190 dedicated online slots, each featuring an original twist on the iGaming experience and finding new ways to engage audiences.
Elsewhere, Yggdrasil has been at the same time expanding with multiple brands. The supplier has teamed up with CoinCasino and Fonbet, providing both casinos with an advanced and worthwhile variety of industry-defining titles.
