Yggdrasil has once again scaled its presence in a leading European jurisdiction, with the supplier launching in Italy with ZonaGioco via MicroGame. The move marks the latest expansion for the supplier, which is looking to further strengthen its footprint.
ZonaGioco is the digital casino brand managed under Diecimilauno S.p.A., a subsidiary of Holding Milleuno S.p.A., as confirmed by the companies in a press release shared with Casino Guru News and other outlets.
Thanks to this new content alliance, Yggdrasil will be spearheading its key game offering, including a wide selection of player-favorite games, which includes dedicated releases from YGGMasters and YGG Champions.
Among the titles that players may enjoy are options such as Vikings Go Berzek, a franchise that is rapidly gaining popularity, along with Valley of the Gods and Raptor.
Toni Di Cintio, Product Manager at Zonagioco, has welcomed the opportunity to see the supplier’s titles and its extended partner studios further expand the casino’s online portfolio with fresh releases.
"Yggdrasil’s innovative approach to game development makes them a valuable addition to our content offering. Their focus on creativity, distinctive game design, and engaging experiences will further enrich the selection available to ZonaGioco players," Di Cintio explained.
Giovanni Fodera, Regional Manager for Italy and South Africa at Yggdrasil, was similarly pleased with the development and welcomed the opportunity to strengthen the supplier’s footprint locally:
"We are delighted to welcome ZonaGioco as a partner ahead of SiGMA World in Rome. Italy is a dynamic market, and seeing our games available through almost every online casino brand in the country is a milestone we are proud of," Fodera explained, highlighting Italy’s market stability and dynamism.
This is not the only recent expansion for Yggdrasil this year. The company previously pushed its content footprint further into the Czech market after it teamed up with Fortuna Entertainment in September.
The partnership with Fortuna Entertainment is in its third market after the Czech launch, with the companies previously launching together in Slovakia and Romania.
