The World Poker Tour is returning to the Wynn Las Vegas in December, and the event will offer a massive $15m prize pool in guaranteed money. As is the wont of such events, however, the prize pool is likely to surpass initial estimates, fetching even bigger prize pools in the end.

The WPT World Championship will be a massive affair hosted on-site and running from December 1 through December 20. The $10,400 buy-in Main Event will draw plenty of eyeballs with a televised final table introduced to poker fans from all over the world. The series will consist of many prominent events, with some of the most prominent ones being the Wynn Mystery Bounty, the World Championship, and the Prime Championship.

Understandably, everyone is stoked about the upcoming World Poker Tour which is making its 20th anniversary. Adam Pliska, the chief executive at WPT, welcomed the opportunity to be hosting the event at Wynn Las Vegas, which has the means to realize the tournament’s design and bring its concept to life.

There will be numerous events to enjoy at the Wynn Las Vegas, not least the WPT World Championship which will be hosting Day 1 on December 12, 13, and 14. There will be three entry dates for the event, but only one winner may secure the trophy on December 20.

The 2022 World Poker Tour Prime Championship will run from December 8 through December 12, and it will cost $1,100 to enter the event. It will come with a guaranteed prize pool of $2 million, and it will also be televised for fans to watch from all over the world. There will be yet another excellent event, the Wynn Mystery Bounty played between December 16 and December 19. This event will have prizes of up to $100,000.

Ryan Beauregard, a passionate poker player and the current Head of Poker at Wynn Las Vegas, welcomed the opportunity to be teaming up with the World Poker Tour once again. "We offer our guests the biggest and best poker experiences available, coupled with the world-class service and amenities that can only be found at Wynn Las Vegas," said Beauregard commenting on the announcement of the partnership.

World Poker Tour VP of Global Tour Management Angelica Hael said that the tour was absolutely thrilled to be hosting these events with all its sub-tournaments and events. Every tournament on the schedule has been carefully developed so that the 20-year history of the organization will have a "historic exclamation point" in December, Hael assured.
