Wazdan has launched with Hollywoodbets in South Africa, a first for the supplier, which has teamed up with Light & Wonder to bring its games online locally. This marks the supplier’s entry into the market, with one of the most prominent operators locally, an established household name in iGaming.
The partnership sees an initial wave of 10 games rolled out, with Hollywoodbets introduced, including 9 Coins, 9 Coins 1000 Edition, 9 Coins Grand Gold Edition, Burning Sun, Hot Slot: 777Crown, Hot Slot Mystery JackpotJoker, Magic Spins, Power of Gods: Valhalla, Power of Sun: Svarog and Sizzling Eggs, with more titles down the road.
Wazdan Commercial Director Bekki D’Agata has welcomed the opportunity to see the company scale its global presence and, in South Africa, of all jurisdictions. The tie-up with Hollywoodbets, D’Agata argued, would be the basis of strong growth locally.
"Our approach to expansion is centred on finding the right partners in each market and creating opportunities to bring our content to new audiences. We are looking forward to seeing how our portfolio develops in South Africa and to progress on this landmark step with Hollywoodbets," D’Agata added.
Wazdan and Hollywoodbets have chosen to list some of the supplier’s most popular and globally-acclaimed games, further strengthening the two businesses’ pull from the very start of the partnership.
Wazdan is thankful to have teamed up with Hollywoodbets, citing its strong brand awareness and pull with local iGaming communities. Commenting on the tie-up in turn, Hollywoodbets head of product Wayde Dorkin said that the company was constantly on the lookout for fresh and worthwhile content.
"The variety across these titles gives our players access to different gameplay styles and experiences, and we are pleased to introduce Wazdan to our platform as part of our ongoing focus on developing our casino proposition," Dorkin explained.
Wazdan has been building its footprint well beyond South Africa, with the company also launching in Ontario, Canada, several months ago. The supplier also partnered up with
