Tonybet Brings X-Multi Slots Tournaments to Ireland as operator builds on App Store lead

Fresh from claiming the No. 1 spot in the casino category of Ireland's App Store, Tonybet is turning its attention to retention, unveiling a slots tournament series for eligible Irish players that puts win multipliers – not wager volume – at the heart of the leaderboard.

The X-Multi Tournaments run from 3 to 30 August and combine two competitions in one: a rolling series of four weekly tournaments and a single monthly leaderboard, with €30,000 in cash bonuses – plus 100,000 Bonus Spins and 1,000 Bonus Games – on offer across the promotion.

Scoring built for the small-stakes player

Any real-money bet of €0.50 or more on any participating slot game qualifies. Qualifying wins are scored based on their win multiplier – win divided by stake. Turn €0.50 into €10 and you bank 20 points; turn it into €500 and you bank 1,000.

As a result, leaderboard position is not determined by how much a player spends. A minimum-stake spin that lands a high multiplier can outrank sustained play at larger stakes – a format Tonybet says is designed to give players at every level a realistic route up the table.

Two races, one set of spins

No opt-in is required – eligible players are enrolled automatically. The same qualifying win may count towards both competitions, provided it meets the requirements for each tournament.

In the weekly tournaments, each week has its own leaderboard and its own €5,000 prize pool, with a player's five highest qualifying win multipliers determining their score. Two hundred players collect prizes every week, led by €1,000 for first place, plus Bonus Games and Bonus Spins on Big Bass Splash.

The monthly tournament takes a longer view: one leaderboard, running start to finish, ranked on a player's twenty highest qualifying win multipliers. Nine hundred winners share a €10,000 cash pool, topped by a €3,000 first prize, alongside Bonus Games and Bonus Spins distributed through the placings.

The five-versus-twenty split gives the two races a different character: the weekly format rewards a hot streak, while the monthly leaderboard favours consistency. And with one prize available per tournament, a player who stays hot all month can collect up to five – four weekly prizes and a monthly one.
