Swintt, an award-winning supplier of games and premium content, has announced that it has secured an important licensing milestone, with the company getting the go-ahead from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to offer its products locally to licensed and regulated operators.
This is a significant boost to Swintt’s geographical reach and overall ambitions to establish itself as a force to be reckoned with globally. North America has been naturally a very important part of this global reach, which already features jurisdictions such as Malta, Germany, and the Netherlands.
With both the United States and Canada taking a harder look at the regulated iGaming market, however, Swintt knows that the time to secure an early-mover advantage is now, and hence the push into the region. Players in Ontario will have the opportunity to explore all sorts of great games developed by the studio.
The company is bringing its signature XtraLockTM feature and game series, as well as fresh content from Elysium Studios, which Swintt acquired to bolster its production line and ensure that it remains at the cutting edge of innovative iGaming content.
Commenting on this opportunity to see the company’s products expand into yet another market, Swintt CEO David Mann said he was happy to see his company receive the green light from AGCO and roll out the company’s games in Ontario.
Before a rollout can happen, though, Swintt will have to strike separate content partnerships with local operators which should be coming very soon as well. In the meantime, Swintt has been relentless in its desire to expand with top-tier companies and ensure that its products are known to audiences worldwide.
A recent partnership saw Swintt and Casino 777 negotiate a multi-jurisdictional partnership covering both the Netherlands and Belgium with the supplier bringing its iconic titles with local players, among which were games such as, Aloha Spirit XtraLockTM, Seven Seven Pots and Pearls, and others.
Swintt was also able to expand in Serbia with Betsson Group-owned Rizk Casino, a prominent local operator and international brand. In the meantime, the supplier is also preparing its North American pivot, as the company is now poised to launch with operators in Ontario, and possibly seek to grow its footprint beyond that.
