The man has more than 22 years of experience working for the gambling industry, with 17 of these years spent in various roles atWilliam Hill, including Group Chief Architect, Global Director of Technology, and Head of Online Architecture at various times of his stint with the company.

He also was part of Stride Gaming Group in 2019 but moved to Flutter in 2021 where he became Director of Technology Strategy. Smith has been hailed as Strive Gaming as someone who can bring his unique perspective and vast technological knowledge to help steer the company towards a better future and help boost growth.

Smith himself is equally excited about the opportunity that has been granted him, as he feels confident that Strive Gaming is on track to become the leading PAM provider in North America, which the supplier wants to be its own stomping ground.

"I am confident that, together, we can further evolve the company and achieve our vision of becoming the number one PAM provider in North America," Smith noted. His appointment was naturally welcomed by Strive Gaming CEO Max Meltzer who was similarly pleased to see Smith step into the new and responsible position.

He hailed the man’s hands-on skills and experience, and also talked about his soft skills such as "sense of calm" and "humility," but also a desire to truly see his team flourish and perform better at their responsibilities.

"This coupled with his extensive industry experience in the gaming industry make him the right person to lead our technical initiatives and help the business achieve its goals," Meltzer noted.
