The leading global sports technology company, focused on delivering immersive experiences for bettors and sports fans alike, Sportradar, continues the development of its iGaming business.

On Tuesday, the company announced the launch of a dedicated brand that delivers a fully integrated ecosystem of cross-vertical gaming experiences called Playradar.

The brand delivers innovative, hybrid content

Described as the evolution of Sportradar's iGaming business, Playradar fuses iGaming and sports betting.

The brand's fully integrated ecosystem leverages Sportradar's live and historical sports data, as well as AV streams and combines it with casino games.

Ultimately, Playradar seeks to create unique, engaging and thrilling hybrid products that guarantee exceptional entertainment.

Ahead of the launch of Playradar, Sportradar confirmed the appointment of the former Playtech Live CEO, Edo Haitin.

Joining the company, he was tasked with leading and overseeing the expansion of its iGaming business.

Overall, Haitin has more than two decades of experience in live casino development, online gambling and leadership, making him the perfect figure to navigate Sportradar's iGaming business growth.

In a press release, Haitin spoke with excitement about the latest announcement.

The EVP of iGaming said: "By combining our unrivalled experience in sports data and live streaming, along with a proven track record of product development, we aim to create hybrid content and gaming experiences to capitalize on the rising popularity of sports casino consumption."

Moreover, Haitin pointed out: "We’re uniquely positioned to seamlessly blend live and historical sports events, innovative gaming mechanics, and casino content and have the advantage of being able to distribute games to an already licensed portfolio of operators."

Finally, the executive said it will be exciting to strengthen Sportradar's iGaming business via Playradar.

Playradar optimizes cross-selling between sports and casinos

Carsten Koerl, Founder and CEO, spoke about the importance of the iGaming vertical as a way for the company to grow and scale up its business.

"Playradar content is designed to provide optimized cross-sell between the worlds of sport and casinos, helping operators to increase player value and session length at a time when engagement and retention are key to operational sustainability," he added.

Playradar's engaging products include Live and Historical Streaming Sports/Casino Hybrid Content.

This new form of gambling transforms real sports moments into interactive events, "driven gameplay by blending live and historical sports streaming with casino mechanics to create innovative hybrid gaming experiences," as described by Sportradar.

Not unexpectedly, this innovative product will be backed by live prediction from Sportradar's live data.

The hybrid products will also include Premium iGaming content, encompassing a full suite of casino games and virtual sports, as well as a Live 24/7 Experience Center where players will have the option to tune into a game, stream and engage in betting.
