The Seminole Tribe of Florida, the owner and operator of six casinos in the state, confirmed the opening of its newest venue, Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel and Casino. The luxury hotel and casino replaces the classic Seminole Casino Brighton, which first opened its doors in 1980, celebrated its grand opening on Thursday.
The exciting opening ceremony attracted local guests, Seminole Gaming and the Seminole Tribe of Florida executives, as well as state representatives.
Besides a ribbon-cutting ceremony with oversized scissors, the grand opening featured live music performance and the traditional Seminole alligator procession which symbolizes prosperity.
Visitors to Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel and Casino can enjoy a wide range of gambling options, including 640 slot machines, 18 tables for games such as roulette, craps and blackjack and other house-banked games.
In addition, the venue offers high-stakes bingo, a smoke-free gaming area with more than 100 popular slot machines and a separate high-limit area with four table games and 42 slots.
Further amenities include luxury hotel accommodation. In fact, Seminole Bay Hotel and Casino represents the first hotel to open doors on the Brighton Seminole Reservation.
Overall, there are 100 guest rooms available that offer queen or king beds, as well as further amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool with a bar, an entertainment venue and a gym.
Visitors interested in having a bite are in for a treat as Seminole Brighton Bay offers four distinct eateries: Josiah Steakhouse, Marketplace, EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill and Center Bar.
The Seminole Tribe's newest hotel and casino also features a large indoor event space that can be used for live performances, as well as a 10-lane bowling alley, the first for any Seminole property.
Larry Howard, Seminole Tribe of Florida Brighton's Reservation Councilman, shared his excitement about the grand opening in a press release.
"Today marks a historic moment for the Brighton Reservation and the Seminole Tribe of Florida," he explained.
Moreover, Howard added: "The grand opening of the Seminole Brighton Bay Hotel and Casino is not just about a new building, it's about growth, opportunity, and a bright future for our community."
Marty Johns, the venue's General Manager, added: "This grand opening is a proud moment for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, the Brighton Seminole Reservation, and the entire region."
Last but not least, Johns said that Seminole Brighton Bay will be delighted to welcome guests, who will benefit from unforgettable experiences.
