Scientific Games will continue to power the national lottery of Latvia with engaging games and reliable solutions thanks to a renewed agreement.
The leading lottery games, technology and solutions company first joined forces with Latvijas Loto in 2002.
At the time, Scientific Games agreed to serve as the gaming systems and retail technology partner of the national lottery of Latvia.
Then, in 2017, the company continued its successful collaboration with Latvijas Loto by agreeing to deliver retail scratchcard games.
Maintaining this positive momentum, Scientific Games hit another major milestone by emerging as the winner in a competitive procurement process that resulted in the company extending its agreement with Latvijas Loto.
As a result, Scientific Games will continue to power the national lottery in Latvia with its thrilling portfolio of games under the terms of the newly signed five-year agreement.
The new five-year contract encompasses scratchcards, as well as game programming that helps Latvijas Loto bolster its presence from retail experiences to the digital vertical.
Ultimately, the collaboration is going to bolster customer engagement while ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
Matthias Müller, Scientific Games’ Senior Vice President, International Sales, highlighted the importance of the latest accomplishment, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.
"Scientific Games is honored to be selected as a trusted partner once again by Latvijas Loto," he said
Moreover, Müller pointed out: "Together, we will continue to deliver innovative omnichannel experiences that entertain Latvian players while maximizing contributions to good causes."
Edgars Ledins, Latvijas Loto’s Chairman of the Management Board, was similarly delighted with the announcement.
He acknowledged that Latvia’s national lottery has established a long-term and successful collaboration with Scientific Games that stands out with integrity, teamwork and success.
"Our players can look forward to more innovative scratchcard games—and extended play online—through our new partnership with Scientific Games," Ledins said in conclusion.
The latest deal comes after Scientific Games announced the strategic appointment of Ray Anderson as interim CFO earlier this month.
