SBC Events has revealed more details about the upcoming Canadian Gaming Summit which will be hosted on June 13 and June 15 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center. The event, which is now under SBC management, is a prominent fixture on the global gambling industry’s business calendar, alongside the SBC Summit Barcelona, SBC Summit Latinoamérica, CasinoBeats Summit, SBC Summit North America, and many others.
This year’s edition will be presented in close collaboration with the Canadian Gaming Association (CGA), SBC informed in a press release. The industry meeting will reunite prominent operators and suppliers and help shape the dialogue around the burgeoning Canadian gambling market, with any legal changes and new entrants happening all over the last year.
Commenting on the upcoming event, SBC Founder & CEO Rasmus Sojmark said that the company was excited to be bringing further expertise to the Canadian market through what is a renowned event. He also praised the market’s potential:
"The Canadian market holds a lot of growth potential, and the regulation of gambling in Ontario and the lessons learned so far have made it crucial for the industry to have discussions about the future of this and other Canadian provinces such as British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Quebec."
The news was similarly welcomed by CGA President and CEO Paul Burns who welcomed the opportunity to have SBC step in as the official event organizer. He spoke about SBC’s transformative powers and how the company’s expertise will help bolster the event’s status as a must-attend industry meeting.
SBC will also seek to ensure that the main focus of the gathering remains on Canada. There will be more than 75 companies on the exhibiting floor, with a number of prominent names, such as Altenar, Fast Track, Finnplay, Kinectify, Paramount Commerce, Platipus Gaming, Xtremepush, and many others.
The conference will attract 150 speakers who will bring their distinct insight into various parts of the gambling experience. The 26th edition of the event is expected to be a big affair all by itself, with more than 2,000 delegates expected to attend from across the entire country and the world.
There will be game developers, lotteries, bingo operators, regulatory agencies, responsible gambling specialists, payment companies, media, and marketing agencies all in attendance.
