Pragmatic Play has expanded its iGaming product portfolio by boosting its sportsbook product with the launch of dedicated horse racing markets.

The company now provides partners with races from more than 30 global territories, according to an official press release shared by Pragmatic Play.

This move further consolidates the Pragmatic Play Sportsbook’s emerging status as one of the go-to options for new businesses looking to get a toehold in the horse racing and sports betting markets, although these two segments are kept exclusive from one another, owing to their unique nomenclature and overall market dynamics.

Pragmatic Play’s decision to enter this ambitions vertical signals the confidence that the company has built through its sportsbook operations and that it is now prepared to help deliver yet another outstanding product, leveraging official data to boost margins for partners.

Pragmatic Play is also proud to present a platform that has been carefully customized and localized for the needs of clients in regulated and approved jurisdictions and also serves as a stepping-stone for existing partners who may be interested in exploring yet another vertical.

Top brass confident in the success of the new platform

Pragmatic Play SVP of Sports Gareth Crook has celebrated this achievement, arguing that Pragmatic Play clients now need not shop around for a market-leading horse racing product.

"Many of our team grew up with the sport and we are delighted to bring the product to the market. Racing is essential for any sportsbook operator, with ‘always on’ racing coverage from tracks all around the world a cornerstone of any sportsbook product," Crook further added, touting the newly arrived platform.

In the meantime, the company has also continued to build its momentum in its mainstay sector – online casino gaming, signing a new content partnership with KirolBet and tweaking the live blackjack experience.

Overall, Pragmatic Play has maintained a strong foothold in the iGaming sector, with its most recent overtures in sports betting and now horse racing coming on the back of an ambitious growth strategy that has made it its mission statement to defy expectations and deliver sterling products across multiple verticals.
