Playson introduces Blitz Mode in bid to boost iGaming experience

Playson, a leading iGaming supplier of cutting-edge and innovative games, has launched a brand-new feature called Blitz Mode, which seeks to boost the pace of play on select titles, ensuring that the RTP and volatility of the game remains unchanged while layering a new way to experience the games on top.

Playson brings Blitz Mode - an out-of-the-box dynamic feature

The Blitz Mode is integrated into the main game interface, allowing players to pick from 10 to 1,000 spins and in some case - unlimited spins that benefit from the feature. Players hasten the pace of play at their discretion and can toggle it off when they decide.

Playson does keep in mind specific player preferences, the company said in a press statement, arguing that once a notable feature or win occurs, the Blitz Mode can be switched off to allow participants to enjoy these highlight moments of their gameplay.

The new feature also allows players to experience familiar games in a fresh setting, allowing them to see some of the slots’ best features in a shorter time window, although the theoretical probability of these bonus mechanics occurring remains intact relative to how many rounds were played in a session.

Playson CPO Anton Ivannikov has welcomed the introduction of the feature, highlighting the logic behind it:

"With Blitz Mode, the game underneath remains the game players know, but the way they experience it can be completely different. That gives us room to innovate around speed, interface and player choice without compromising the product foundations that made those titles successful."

According to Ivannikov, innovation did not exclusively rely on coming up with brand-new gameplay mechanics. His sentiment was echoed by Playson Chief Commercial Officer Ben Wood, who added:

"Blitz Mode gives our partners another experience to offer around proven Playson titles while maintaining the game mathematics underneath. As the feature expands across our portfolio, it creates further opportunities for operators to differentiate how Playson content is presented to their players."

Outside of Blitz Mode, Playson has been staying busy, strengthening its market positions through partnerships with operators and more. Only recently, Playson signed up a new content partnership with Winpot, strengthening its own footprint in the iGaming market in Mexico while also boosting the operator.
