Playson enters Colombia as LatAm expansion continues

• Playson expands further afield in Latin America by obtaining a Colombian license and launching locally
• Playson’s first local partner is Rush Street Interactive, with both companies seeking to strengthen their clout in the region
• The studio is bringing its player-favorite games, relying on time-tested infrastructure to ensure smooth play and stability

Playson has secured a new iGaming license, allowing it to operate further afield in the Latin American market.

The newest supplier license issued by Coljuegos, the Colombian iGaming regulator, now allows Playson to operate locally and provide certified operators with its award-winning and player-favorite games.

Playson’s LatAm pivot gets stronger with a brand-new market launch

This is not a first expansion in Latin America for Playson either, with the supplier also pushing into Brazil with Cactus Gaming in 2025.

Playson has launched with Rush Street Interactive, as its first partner locally, bringing its selection of titles locally and strengthening the operator’s own footprint.

Playson comes prepared too, offering to-performing titles, engaging mechanics, and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure low latency and stability. Commenting on what the company has celebrated as a major milestone, Playson Head of LatAm, Christinan Zito, had this to add:

"Entering the Colombian market is an important milestone for Playson, and doing so alongside a Tier-1 operator of the region makes it even more meaningful."

Zito hailed RSI as an important partner that will help the studio deliver long-term growth in the region, noting that Colombia was a respected and regulated market.

Playson has been focused on expansion over the past months, with the company also launching with High Flyer Casino in Ontario, Canada, last year.
