Play'n GO releases Ronin’s Honour samurai slot game

Play’n GO is back with another hard-hitting slot game. The freshly-released Ronin’s Honour is a title that draws inspiration from the legend of the samurais and is the latest action-packed game to grace the portfolio of titles in the supplier’s library.

The game immediately pivots with a strong plot in which The Ronin, a samurai of exceptional fighting prowess and swordsmanship, will go head-to-head with Hannya, the character’s ninja nemesis. The Ronin is also trained in the arts of the ninja, so the player will always come prepared.

The game is built around similar designs by Play’n GO, including Tale of Kyubiko which was released last year, but you can rest assured that Ronin’s Honour is a deeply original title all the same. All this thematic richness aside, Ronin’s Honour is an equally powerful title when it comes to pure maths and gameplay mechanics.

Players will be able to secure a win for every three matching symbols they get. There is a Mystery Splitting symbol which can be stacked or, as the name suggests, split. This leads to Dynamic Payways and in fact, adds to the narrative-driven gameplay.

Then, there are the scatters to consider. If you get three of these, you will enter the covered free spins bonus round, called Battling Free Spins. The Ronin will then engage in combat with the Stacked Wilds for a chance to secure even greater payouts. Basically, if a Wilds get split, a life point will be removed from Hannya – who will be waiting for you in the level.

Split three Wilds, and you will emerge victorious, having defeated Hannya, and fulfilled your Ronin destiny. Another fantastic thing to know about the Battling Free Spins is that they are uncapped, meaning that you could look at some pretty decent payouts here.

Play’n GO Head of Game Retention George Olekszy welcomed the new slot and its significance as a fun and exciting game to try, saying: "Although this slot is for everyone, enthusiasts will feel right at home with this title. The battle mechanics and mystery symbols really elevate this slot, and we couldn’t be prouder."

Olekszy was happy with how the new game has been able to create both a narrative-rich and action-packed gameplay and combine both together.
