The developer of online casino games, powering betting and gaming companies across the globe, Octoplay, announced it continues to expand its presence in Europe.
On Tuesday, the company revealed it secured a license in Greece, continuing to grow its presence on the Old Continent.
The strategic license enables Octoplay to offer its services and content to operators in the regulated iGaming market in Greece.
This milestone move enables the company to deliver its games to Greek operators. In turn, new players are going to experience hit games from Octoplay.
Notably, the strategic expansion complements the company's growth plan with a focus on increasing its presence in regulated jurisdictions and joining forces with Tier 1 gambling operators.
Carl Ejlertsson, Octoplay's CEO, shared his excitement about the latest achievement in a statement.
"Securing the Greek license is a significant step in our growth strategy, to provide our games to operators in all regulated markets, he explained.
The recently secured license comes on the heels of an important content alliance announced by Octoplay.
Earlier this month, the company struck an agreement with Kindred Group, the recognizable operator that has a solid presence in many gambling markets across the globe.
Per the deal, Octoplay agreed to deliver games, strengthening the offering of Kindred in important iGaming markets.
More recently, the company announced its debut in Denmark's regulated gambling market.
This was accomplished thanks to an agreement signed between Octoplay and Bejoynd, a company that has more than two decades of experience within the online gambling vertical.
The recently secured license in Greece expands Octoplay's portfolio of licenses.
It follows recent regulatory approvals, including licenses in Romania, Sweden, the United Kingdom, as well as Ontario, Canada.
At the same time, the latest licensing signals Octoplay is prepared to meet diverse regulatory requirements in order to deliver its high-quality games to new players.
