NeoGames and Intralot do Brasil launch sports betting and iLottery

NeoGames, a leading supplier of iLottery and iGaming solutions, has teamed up with Intralot do Brasil and revealed a pivotal partnership that will focus on Minas Gerais in Brazil. The southeastern state will now welcome the first regulated iLottery and online sports betting platform available anywhere in the country and launched with Loteria Mineira.

The solution, called LotoMinas, is an important milestone for NeoGames which has long been looking to expand into Latin American markets. This is the first foray the company is driving into the Brazilian market as such and it is only the beginning. Some of the groundwork has already been laid out in Minas Gerais, too.

Presently, the state offers retail lottery products and has ventured in the digital space with its keno program, but NeoGames intends to pick the pace up by introducing its own dedicated products. For starters, the company will bring its NeoSphere platform along with the NeoGames Studio library of titles.

NeoGames will also leverage its other assets, including CRM management and sports risk management solutions by Aspire Global, a company that NeoGames acquired in 2022. Another set of solutions will be provided by BtoBet, another recent acquisition of NeoGames, which will put forward its managed trading services.

Intralot do Brasil CEO & Owner Sérgio Alvarenga was extremely pleased with the developments and hailed the opportunity to welcome NeoGames as part of the state’s evolving gaming and entertainment landscape. The company, Alvarenga said, was one of the leading iLottery providers, making it a natural fit to support the state’s further efforts in bringing next-level entertainment to local audiences and boosting results.

"We are confident that this collaboration with NeoGames will advance the lottery," Alvarenga concluded. NeoGames CEO Moti Malul was of a similar mind and said that it was honor to be teaming up with Intralot do Brasil and said that their team understood the local market and it needs.

Malul similarly spoke of how this new opportunity in Brazil more than justified the recent acquisitions of Aspire Global and BtoBet as both of these companies’ solutions will now be put forward to strengthen the local offer in Minas Gerais and provide players with a tremendous end-to-end experience.
