Ontario and LuckyCasino

The iGaming landscape in Ontario is about to get busier with Glitnor Group’s flagship brand, LuckyCasino, now securing a firm foothold in the regulated and lucrative market. The business is happy to move strongly on the vibrant online casino landscape in the province, offering local customers a selection of games that are distinguished for their player-focused gameplay and engaging features.

This is a huge leap forward for LuckyCasino which is moving past its home bastion in Sweden and striding the globe in search of new geographical outlets. The company has long been building up to this moment, allowing the operator to secure access to an important market that will help shape its business strategy and boost its results.

LuckyCasino is entering the market 20 months after the province officially launched regulated iGaming, with plenty of consumers to serve and introduce innovative and worthwhile content. Glitnor Group Head of Brands and Business David Schwieler has welcomed this opportunity, arguing that the group is constantly looking to make a move for new markets worldwide.

The launch in the province is another chance to move forward and further consolidate the brand reach and identity. LuckyCasino will also be able to benefit from Glitnor Group’s other brand, Swintt, in the market, which is a distributor of highly innovative games designed to boost engagement and drive interest among players.

"As such, the expansion will open new possibilities for our company in future and we’re sure players are going to love what we have to offer," Schwieler added.Ontario has indeed been an important market and geography for iGaming businesses in the past two years.

In the past three months, many B2B and B2C brands have explored the opportunity to enter the market and ploy their craft locally, including suppliers such as Peter & Sons, Octoplay, and Greentube.

Bragg Gaming Group also expanded its local presence in the market recently by teaming up with bet365, and Hacksaw Gaming extended its collaboration with BetRivers to cover the province as well in mid-2023. All in all, there has been no shortage of companies looking to expand into the booming iGaming market in Ontario, and this trend is likely to remain true for the next several months at least as the market matures.
