Light & Wonder injects content in Ontario with Playzido

Light & Wonder continues to secure the frontlines in the iGaming industry across North America, with the company expanding its reach in the region by introducing the Playzido content and dedicated remote server platform to the local market in Ontario, Canada, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.

This move allows Light & Wonder to provide local licensed and regulated operators with a strong selection of third-party and in-house content.

Players will get to access a variety of titles developed by prominent studios that are part of the Playzido platform, including Atlantic Digital, Pixiu Gaming, and Bang Bang Games. The entire offer is underpinned by the Remote Gaming Server which allows for the flawless delivery and execution of cutting-edge HTML5-optimized experiences.

Commenting on this new opportunity in the market, Light & Wonder Managing Director for Canada ByronBridger said her company was excited to welcome the platform on the market for the very first time.

"It provides further evidence of our mission to empower operators to craft groundbreaking and branded content, both in North America and beyond. We are now focused on creating a host of compelling new gaming experiences that speak to player appetites in Ontario," she added.

Light & Wonder has had numerous interesting developments to report on recently. The company recently cleared the acquisition of SciPlay and completed one of its most prominent M&A deals this year.

In terms of delivering gaming content, Light & Wonder has not been focusing on just the North American market, with the company launching with Hollywoodbets in the South African iGaming market earlier in December.

Back in North America, Light & Wonder partnered with BetRivers in Michigan, injecting content from its Authentic Gaming studio. The company has also been working on creating highly differentiated and well-known products, such as a Squid Game-themed title, among others.
