LeoVegas and PokerStars in the UK

LeoVegas Group has appointed a new country manager for the United Kingdom in the face of Ben Ingham, an iGaming and industry veteran with extensive experience across numerous high-performing brands in the industry.

Notably, Ingham spent 2.7 years with PokerStars and in a similar position as Country Lead for the United Kingdom, and he also served a 4.7-stint with Sky Betting & Gaming, working in various positions and garnering a better understanding of local market needs.

His other relevant experience includes Alchemy Media, a UK agency, and he is now prepared to help the company better position its myriad brands and assist existing partners. This includes the recent launches of BetMGM casino and sportsbook in the country, along with pre-existing brands, such as BetUK, Slot Boss, 21.co.uk, and Pink Casino, among others.

He joined the company at a time of rapid expansion and growth, not least because of the introduction of the BetMGM brand in the United Kingdom, but also because of LeoVegas’ determination to be recognized across the world. Similarly, LeoVegas has outlined some core tenets of its growth and success strategy over the past months, including the role that jackpots would play in differentiating one’s product and helping iGaming operators and brands stand out.

LeoVegas Group similarly finalized the acquisition of Push Gaming last year, with the group committed to growing its capabilities in delivering impeccable iGaming content. Apart from pushing through in the United Kingdom, the group similarly was able to secure a five-year license extension in the Netherlands.

Ingham joining the LeoVegas Group in the United Kingdom has been warmly received by his colleagues on LinkedIn where he announced the shift, beginning his journey as part of the company.
