Kambi extends existing deal with Greenwood Gaming

The leading sports betting supplier, Kambi Group, announced it extended its existing sportsbook partnership with Greenwood Gaming. Announced on Wednesday, the partnership extension sees Kambi continue to provide its leading technology for the operator.

Greenwood Gaming, the company that owns and operates the largest casino gaming complex in Pennsylvania, ParxCasino, as well as the leading sportsbook, betPARX, first joined forces with Kambi in 2018. Now, under the partnership extension, the company will continue to leverage Kambi's best-in-class services and technology. This collaboration also sees Greenwood benefit from Kambi's award-winning product, Bet Builder.

Currently, a Kambi-powered in-person sportsbook is live at Parx Casino in Pennsylvania. Moreover, Greenwood's partners also offer Kambi-powered retail outlets at Gun Lake Casino in Michigan and Freehold Raceway in New Jersey. What's more, Greenwood's online sportsbook, betPARX, is live in those three states as well, but further expansion to more jurisdictions is planned.

In a statement released on June 29, 2022, betPARX's Senior Vice President of Interactive Gaming and Sports, Matthew Cullen, said: "betPARX is thrilled to continue working with Kambi and their award-winning technology as we grow our new, exciting brand nationally."

Kristian Nylén, Kambi's CEO and Co-Founder, added that the company is delighted to extend its existing agreement with Greenwood Gaming. He said: "Since we first partnered in 2018, it has been fantastic to watch betPARX grow from a local operator in the Philadelphia area to a nationally recognized brand, and I am pleased that Kambi will continue to support the operator on its journey as it expands further across the United States."

Parx Casino is famous in Pennsylvania for being the #1 revenue-generating casino. The venue is located in Bensalem, Bucks County, which is only 20 minutes north of Philadelphia's city center. The property offers 3,000 slot machines, 48 poker tables, as well as 148 live table games.

Overall Parx Casino's floor is more than 180,000 square feet but visitors of the venue can also enjoy bars, live entertainment, as well as dining outlets and complimentary parking for more than 5,000 vehicles.

On the other hand, Kambi is currently live in 17 US states. The company continues to expand its portfolio of partners while at the same time looking to become the go-to sportsbook partner for operators in North America. Besides Greenwood Gaming, Kambi has also active partnerships with Rush Street Interactive, LeoVegas, Penn National Gaming, Kindred Group and Churchill Downs Incorporated. In total, the company has more than 40 active partnerships with leading iGaming industry organizations.
