One of the most globally recognized companies with a presence in more than 70 countries around the world, Hard Rock International (HRI), announced a new senior-level appointment. The company said last week that it expanded its C-suite by adding the real estate development expert with decades of experience, Ragheb "Raj" Dajani. Joining HRI's Real Estate Development Division, he was appointed to the role of Senior Vice President of Development.
In his new role, Dajani is expected to oversee the company's real estate development prospects. He will play a pivotal role in HRI's real estate development strategies. At the same time, Dajani will spearhead the company's strategic business goals, as well as plans, a statement reveals.
As a part of the company's management, Dajani will collaborate with senior-level team members. Taking the role of Senior Vice President of Development, he will report directly to HRI's Chief Design and Development Officer, Joe Emanuele.
Dajani's appointment isn't a surprise, considering his extensive experience within the real estate sector. Overall, he brings more than three decades of experience within the vertical after overseeing large-scale designs and constructions of integrated resorts. Moreover, Dajani has been a part of hospitality, luxury residential and casino properties projects.
His career started within the US luxury residential projects vertical. Dajani worked with leading hospitality companies such as Kerzner International. During his tenure with the company, he held multiple strategic roles, including Vice President and was in charge of the development of luxury towers in the Bahamas, Dubai and Morocco, among other locations around the world.
More recently, Dajani was a part of Galaxy Entertainment Group where he held the role of Head of Planning in Tokyo, Japan. His responsibilities included pursuing a license for the operation, as well as the development of a large-scale multi-billion-dollar integrated resort, among other strategic development priorities.
Joe Emanuele, HRI's Chief Design and Development Officer, shared his excitement about the latest appointment saying: "We're thrilled to have Raj join our Real Estate Development team as we continue to further cement the Hard Rock brand as a pillar in the global luxury hospitality space." He added: "His extensive experience in bringing top-of-the-line luxury integrated resort concepts to life makes Raj an invaluable addition to the Hard Rock team."
The latest appointment comes after only recently, Hard Rock boosted its iGaming operations in New Jersey under the terms of a new partnership with High 5 Games, a popular provider of award-winning games, technology and solutions for the online gambling vertical.
