The Board of Directors at Hacksaw Gaming has made a decision to remove Christoffer Källberg, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, from his position and replace him with an interim CEO in the face of Ana Vrabic Verdir.
The company has confirmed that it will be looking for a new incumbent to permanently occupy the position, with Källberg’s removal part of what the board described as its "strategic alignment."
"I would like to thank Christoffer for successfully leading the company´s IPO on the large cap list on Nasdaq Stockholm in June last year and for his valuable contributions thereafter with a solid financial performance. I wish him all the best for the future,"Patrick Svensk, Chairman of the Board of Directors,
Hacksaw Gaming has already reached out to a recruitment company that will help with the process of finding the new candidate for the job, who could help steer the company towards its "long-term strategy."
Källberg joined the NASDAQ-listed company from Carnegie Investment Bank in 2025, and was part of several high-profile rocades in the C-suite. He was also tasked with overseeing Hacksaw Gaming’s investment arm, Hacksaw Ventures.
The company has also been expanding its business reach all the while, specifically adding Pineapple Play as an OpenRGS partner at the end of last year, and also launching with FDJ United in Denmark.
