Habanero, a seminal developer of content for the iGaming industry, has received a license from Spelinspektionen, the Swedish gaming regulator, which will now allow the supplier to deploy its full product range locally and introduce 157 slot games to interested and licensed operators, Casino Guru News learned in a press release.
Habanero develops a wide range of games, and besides its slots, it also offers video poker and table games, along with a unique and trademarked jackpot system. The company has been around for many years and it’s definitely one of the European leaders that brings the most worthwhile experiences.
In fact, Habanero is available in 22 European markets, and it already holds milestone partnerships with operators of significant stature, including Betway, Entain, Sisal, Sportium, and many others. In terms of regulatory reach, Habanero is also licensed under a Malta Gaming Authority licensing regime.
Commenting on this new opportunity, Habanero Head of Business Development Arcangelo Lonoce said that the latest license acquisition was indeed something that the company had been long looking forward to.
"Being awarded our Swedish license is both gratifying and exciting for Habanero as we look to scale up our operations in the market and partner with leading stakeholders to bring the wonderful world of Habanero to even more players than ever before," Lonoce explained.
Habanero has developed a string of highly successful and original games. One of its most notable slots is Meow Janken, a cat-themed game that puts the feline characters on an interstellar journey.
The company has also released a number of holiday-themed options, including Santa’s Inn, and it has been steadily adding to its sprawling library. Other titles that players will be able to enjoy in Sweden now include Zeus Deluxe, Fruity Halloween, Slime Party, Legend of Nezha, and more.
Habanero has not yet confirmed any operator partnership in the country, but more information about this will surely be forthcoming.
