FanDuel teams up with Delaware North for market access deal in West Virginia

The premier online gaming and betting company with a strong presence in North America, FanDuel, continues to expand its footprint across the United States.

On Thursday this week, the company confirmed it signed a new market access deal, growing its reach in West Virginia.

Market access will be completed via Delaware North's Mardi Gras Casino and Resort

FanDuel confirmed it joined forces with Delaware North, a gaming, hospitality and entertainment leader.

Per the new market access agreement, covering both iGaming and online sports betting, FanDuel will benefit from access in West Virginia.

The leading betting and gaming company said that its market access is completed via Delaware North's Mardi Gras Casino and Resort.

The aforementioned venue, located in Cross Lanes, West Virginia, is renowned as a premier entertainment and gaming destination.

While FanDuel secures market access through Delaware North's Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, the leading betting company confirmed it will continue to operate its retail sportsbook at the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia.

Only recently, FanDuel announced the appointment of Keith Whyte to the role of Responsible Gaming Strategic Advisor.

Undoubtedly, Whyte makes an excellent addition to the company's C-suite, considering he brings more than 30 years of experience.

Delaware North is delighted to join forces with FanDuel

Lee Terfloth, Delaware North's Chief Interactive Gaming Officer, shared his excitement about the alliance with FanDuel, Casino Guru News learned from a press release.

"We love working with FanDuel and are very proud to be partnered together in West Virginia," he said.

Finally, Terfloth pointed out: "This partnership represents the best of what Delaware North strives for, bringing trusted, innovative experiences to our customers – and FanDuel is an incredible ally in that mission."

Jonathan Edson, FanDuel's Business Development Senior Vice President, was similarly excited.

"Delaware North has been a respected name in gaming and hospitality for decades, and they are an ideal partner as we continue to operate in West Virginia," he said.

Late last month, FanDuel confirmed the launch of its new peer-to-peer fantasy sports product, FanDuel Picks.
