The fast-growing provider of solutions, content and services for the sports betting, casino and iGaming sector, EveryMatrix, expanded further its European and global footprint after securing a new license. The famous business-to-business (B2B) iGaming provider announced Wednesday that it secured a B2B license for the Swedish regulated gambling market.

The license was awarded by the gambling regulator in Sweden, Spelinspektionen, and enables EveryMatrix to provide its leading online services, solutions and gaming software for customers within the growing market in the country in line with new regulations. Securing the license comes ahead of a major change planned for the Swiss market.

Starting from July 1, 2023, all providers that offer services and solutions for the regulated iGaming market in the county would be subject to licensing from Spelinspektionen. In other words, without a license, B2B service providers, such as EveryMatrix, would not be permitted to supply their services and may be subject to sanctions once the deadline for licensing passes.

In a statement released on March 29, 2023, EveryMatrix's CEO, Ebbe Groes, shared his excitement saying: "I’m delighted EveryMatrix has become one of the first providers to be licensed in Sweden under new requirements and well ahead of the deadline." Moreover, he explained that the license will help protect brands within the regulated market and at the same time allow EveryMatrix to deliver its game-changing solutions and technology that is famous for driving customer engagement, as well as revenue for the operators.

Finally, Groes pointed out: "We have identified significant growth opportunities in Sweden, and we are now perfectly positioned to accelerate our growth plans there."

Despite the strict regulation, the legal gambling market in Sweden holds significant potential. In fact, for 2022, the Swiss market's online GGR revenue was valued at approximately SEK17.1bn (€1.5bn), reaffirming its leadership position on the Old Continent.

Securing the Swiss license comes after only recently, EveryMatrix expanded its US-facing presence via an entry in Connecticut. This further expanded the reach of the company after it previously established its presence in strategic markets such as New Jersey, Michigan, as well as West Virginia.

Looking at the bigger picture, the license in Connecticut boosted the B2B provider's North American presence as well. Besides the US, the company also holds a license from the gambling regulator in Ontario, Canada.

Before announcing its entry in Connecticut, EveryMatrix forged a new deal with Bang Bang Games. Announced earlier in March, the company confirmed it expanded its portfolio of partners, adding new games from the famous iGaming content provider.
