EvenBet, a supplier of online poker games and a gaming platform developer licensed primarily in Malta, and a winner of multiple gambling distinctions, including the SBC Awards, EGR B2B Awards, and SPiCE India Awards, has added a new milestone to its long list of accomplishments.

Moving forward, the company will be able to operate in the Netherlands following a completed certification process with the country’s regulator, Kansspelautoriteit (KSA) and a technical assessment study by an independent third-party, BMM Testlabs.

EvenBet poker now part of Dutch gambling landscape

The certification will allow EvenBet to rapidly scale its presence in the region, focusing on online poker, which was approved in the Netherlands in 2021.

With licensed operators locally looking for a trusted and reliable platform, along with a well-executed overall poker suite, EvenBet is coming at the right time.

Apart from bringing groundbreaking card games that are based on popular demand, EvenBet is similarly deploying its CRM solution to help run poker tables and manage customers at licensed operators online.

Dmitry Starostenkov, EvenBet CEO, has welcomed the opportunity, and called it a remarkable time in the company’s history.

"It showcases our desire to work within the strictest jurisdictions to ensure players receive the highest-quality gaming experience and that sports betting operators, casinos and dedicated poker rooms have the tools to manage these effectively," Starostenkov explained, chalking up the achievement to changing attitudes in iGaming defined by a continuous pursuit of securing the best product.

This, Starostenkov said, is part of the company’s ongoing push to establish itself in core markets where online poker is popular and continues to develop in leap and bounds. This commitment to improving poker comes at a time when more poker gurus have called for it.

Change poker to meet consumer expectations, don’t revolutionize it

Peter Jesko, Casino Guru Strategic Consulting and a fairly well-known live poker player with over $200,000 in live tournament earnings, recently attended the "Back to Basics: Does Poker Really Need Re-Inventing" discussion as part of CasinoBeats Summit Malta 2024 and argued that poker simply needs to evolve – not undergo any type of revolution.

This exact same sentiment was reflected in a previous Opinion Piece published on Casino Guru News by Igor Terebinov, Deputy CEO at PokerBet, who argued that the game is changing form based on operator and developer experience in order to better match consumer tastes.

In EvenBet’s case, the company will be able to deploy its prowess in creating powerful poker products directly in one of the fastest-growing European poker networks, which has embraced online gambling as the way to move forward.
