In mid-September, Brazil banned its regulated online gambling market, impacting Entain, as well as other operators that have established operations.
Entain released additional details, offering insights about its operations in the UK and Ireland.

Entain’s online operations in the UK and Ireland recorded double-digit growth, with total NGR increasing by 14%.
Stella David, Entain’s CEO, discussed the newly released Q3 2026 trading update.
"I am pleased with our Q3 performance, which reflects the strength of our execution and reinforces the resilience of our globally scaled business as well as its ability to consistently deliver high-quality growth," she explained.
David emphasized the importance of the company’s online and retail operations, highlighting that they both contribute to tax revenues and local communities.
Addressing a potential tax hike in the UK, David said: "We strongly urge the UK Government to carefully consider any further gambling tax increases which would threaten the viability of many shops, jobs and livelihoods."
According to Entain’s CEO, the ongoing momentum and the company’s diverse portfolio give the business confidence in reiterating its FY26 guidance.
"I am confident our disciplined focus on growth and optimization will deliver strong future cash-generation, and that Entain remains well positioned to be a long-term industry winner," David said in conclusion.
