SBC Summit North America is just around the corner with the event getting underway on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, and reuniting more than 5,000 delegates at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in New Jersey.
The event is preceded by the Capital Market Forum on Monday, May 6, which will build into the core conference days hosted as part of SBC Summit North America. The event, one of the largest in the United States, focusing on the evolving needs of the industry, will bring together media, affiliates, suppliers, regulators, tribal nations, and other representatives of the gambling market in the region and beyond.
The gathering will see 300 speakers who will address various aspects of the dynamic changes that have been happening across the North American markets, touching on everything from innovation to land-based experiences, to the advance of digital solutions, emerging technology, regulatory challenges, and more.
Among the prominent delegates, attendees and contributors are such personalities as Dina Titus, President of the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) Shawn Fluharty, Caesars Entertainment Board Member Jan Jones Blackhurst, former President of the WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) Donna Orender and Robert Norton, President of the Cordish Companies Casinos & Hotels, the company announced in a press release shared with casino Guru news.
Commenting on this upcoming gathering, SBC CEO and Founder Rasmus Sojmark said that he was happy to be part of the North American transformation when it comes to the gambling industry in the region.
"The North American market is still undergoing a pivotal and transformative shift. Despite some regulatory roadblocks, sports betting is continuing to go from strength to strength as evidenced by the recent developments in Vermont, Kentucky, Maine, and North Carolina," Sojmark remarked.
"With that said, there is still much more to be achieved in the market, and alongside discussions on the slow progress of iGaming, SBC Summit North America will serve as the ideal opportunity for delegates to equip themselves with the tools to prosper and continue pushing the market forward," he added.
The event’s exhibition floor will have more than 75 global and regional brands to welcome who will, in turn, present their products and solutions in front of thousands of delegates. There will be a variety of interesting events hosted as part of the SBC Summit North America gathering, including the Global Gaming Women Meet-Up Breakfast, Tribal Gaming Breakfast Meet-Up, Responsible Gambling Affiliate Association (RGAA) Launch & Networking Drinks, and so much more.
Not least, the event will be crowned by the SBC Awards Ceremony which will be taking place at the Hilton Midtown on May 9.
