Continent 8 Technologies hires Carl Bonner as Regional Sales Director

The award-winning provider of managed hosting, cloud, connectivity and security solutions, catering to the global online gambling industry, Continent 8 Technologies, announced a new C-suite appointment. Earlier this week, the company announced it hired the former Amazon Web Services (AWS) executive with extensive experience, Carl Bonner, for the role of Regional Sales Director.

The latest senior-level appointment comes at a time when the company sees a growing demand for its services and solutions amid the expansion of regulated gambling in different markets across the globe. Joining as Regional Sales Director, Bonner is expected to play an important role in the company's global sales team, overseeing strategic processes.

He is going to leverage his wide range of skills and industry knowledge to help Continent 8 continue to grow and expand, reaching new customers across the globe. As Regional Sales Director, Bonner will be in charge of the growth of the company's multi-cloud strategy. Moreover, he will oversee the expansion of its customer base in strategic iGaming markets such as the United States, among others.

Continent 8 Technologies' new Regional Sales Director, shared his excitement in a statement. As an experienced executive, Bonner was previously a part of AWS where he held the role of senior account manager. He helped co-found the Betting & Gaming division and played an important part in the growth of different AWS services.

Outside of AWS, Bonner held important roles with recognizable European brands. Such include ESET, UliPath, WHSmith, Shazam and Pre a Manger, among others. Bonner was also a part of Oracle where he held multiple senior-level roles.
