Globally recognized gaming, hospitality and entertainment company with a presence in more than 70 countries across the globe Hard Rock International (HRI) strengthened its C-suite with a new appointment.
On Thursday this week, the company confirmed it hired Chris Kelley, a recognizable and proven leader, to the strategic role of President of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon, HRI's newest gaming and entertainment destination in Kern County, California.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon is expected to open its doors to visitors at some point late in 2025.
Undoubtedly, Kelley is a perfect fit for the new appointment, considering that he brings more than 20 years of executive-level experience.
In his new role as President at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon, he will report to HRI's chief operating officer (COO), Jon Lucas, a press release reveals.
Kelley revealed that it is incredibly exciting to join Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon as the venue's President.
"This is an incredible opportunity to lead a dynamic and exciting property that embodies the spirit of entertainment and hospitality," he added.
Finally, Kelley said: "I look forward to working with the talented team here to create unforgettable experiences for our future guests and to drive the continued success and growth of this iconic brand."
HRI's COO, added that it is exciting to see an executive of Kelley's rank join the leadership team at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon.
Lucas said that the venue is expected to become a go-to destination for the region, offering premier gaming and live entertainment options.
"We are confident Chris will bring forth his innovative and extensive background in finance and operations, ensuring continued growth and excellence for Hard Rock's leadership in the gaming industry," Lucas said in conclusion.
Overall, Kelley brings more than 20 years of experience in the gaming and hospitality verticals.
He is a proven leader with a track record, a wealth of experience and knowledge.
Before joining Hard Rock International, Kelley held the role of President and COO at MGM Resorts International Northeast Group.
At that time, he was in charge of MGM's venues in Springfield, Massachusetts and New York.
Kelley's professional background includes President and COO role of MGM Northfield Park.
The executive was also a CFO of MGM Detroit and has held important C-suite roles with Viejas Casino and Resort.
Recently, HRI confirmed the opening of Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Bristol in Virginia, organizing a grand ceremony featuring exciting activations, including live performances.
