The Canadian Gaming Summit is due to reunite more than 3,000 industry stakeholders and various experts who will put a big focus on the sports betting industry, the way it evolves, and how it is unfolding in the region.

To achieve this, the gathering will launch a dedicated Sports Betting Track which is due to take place on the first core day of the event or Wednesday, June 19 at the Metro Toronto Convention Center.

This particular track of the gathering will focus on a broad range of topics that have to do with the industry, including Canadian sports viewership and how daily fantasy sports and esports would play a role in sports betting.

Among the featured panels are several prominent focal points that will seek to tackle a number of pressing matters within the segment, including "The Winning Ticket: How Sports Betting Can Emulate Lottery's Appeal," which will talk about the opportunity to leverage the popularity of traditional Canadian lotteries in the segment to encourage loyalty and integrity.

Another prominent panel will focus on "It's All In The Game: Innovations In Live Betting," which will discuss at length how in-play sports betting and other sports betting innovations are leading the way and the opportunities it creates for sportsbooks and punters.

The dialogue around sports betting will continue with "Game Changers: Collaborative Synergy With Sports Leagues" which will further look into how sports leagues and sportsbooks are teaming up to redefine the Canadian sports betting landscape.

The opportunities created therein have to do with enhanced brand visibility, better engagement, and market reach. The event will reunite many prominent speakers all of whom are important and relevant participants in the sports betting industry.

Among the speakers are Conor Murray (VP Marketing, FanDuel), Nic Sulsky (CCO, PointsBet), Owen Welsh (VP Gaming, Sports Betting & Innovation, CFL), Martin Lycka (SVP American Regulatory Affairs & Responsible Gambling, Entain), Britt Doll (Global Marketing Director, Rivalry), and many others, all of whom have a stake in the Canadian sports betting market and are keen to see it succeed.

The Canadian Gaming Summit is due to take place on June 18-20, 2024, and is the 27th edition of the renowned industry gathering.
