Caesars' AC casinos donate $15,000 to charities

• Caesars’ three casino properties in Atlantic City, New Jersey, have each donated $5,000 to three deserving non-profit organizations
• The campaign focused on a non-profit that supports the families of professionals in the line of duty, who have been injured or lost their lives, along with others
• Other recipients of goodwill have been a school focused on aiding children in need, along with a charity that offers barrier and stigma-free PTSD treatment to veterans

Caesars Entertainment is closing the year with a good cause, with the company’s three Atlantic City-based casinos donatinga total of $15,000 to several local charities.

The targets of generosity included the 200 Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, as well as Brighton Avenue School, and the Headstrong Project, with each non-profit organization receiving $5,000 from the casinos.

Caesars donates to worthwhile organizations in New Jersey

Commenting on the opportunity to back the organizations during the holidays, SVP and General Manager of Tropicana Atlantic City, and President of the 200 Club of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, Gregg Kelin, said that this particular period of the year could be particularly challenging to families and their loved ones in the line of duty.

"Supporting the 200 Club is especially meaningful to me, and I’m proud that our team can give back to an organization that stands beside first responders and their families when they need it most," Kleinn said.

Caesars Entertainment and its flagship casino properties are hardly the only ones to have shown generosity during the festive season. Atlantic City Boardwalk luxury hotel, casino, and entertainment venue Ocean Casino Resort announced its Season of Giving initiative in November.

Commenting further on the Caesars’ donations, Caesars Atlantic City SVP and General Manager, Jacob Witmer, also welcomed the opportunity to help address mental health challenges for veterans, which are particularlyexacerbated during the festive season.

"That’s why we’re proud to support The Headstrong Project and the meaningful impact they make in the lives of veterans and their families. Their work is essential, and we’re committed to standing with the veteran community during a time of year that can be especially challenging," Witmer explained.

Not least, Joseph Guunta, SVP and General Manager of Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City, was pleased to see the company donate to the Brighton Avenue School and help the school make a real change for children in need.
