Bragg Gaming Group has finalized another major acquisition that continues to see the company expand its operational capacity, reach, and delivery. The firm has completed the buyout of Drayton International, alongside the separate conversion of subscription receipts into common shares under its previously announced private placement.
The acquisition saw Bragg acquire all of Drayton International's issued and outstanding securities, for aggregate consideration to the tune of $9,000,000. The sum was satisfied through the issuance of 4,500,000 Bragg Gaming Group shares.
The deal allows Bragg Gaming Group to significantly scale up its presence in the sports betting market in the United States, as well as gain access to Drayton’s Advance Deposit Wagering technology, which will further enhance the company’s operational capabilities, and also pave a way into online horse racing betting.
Commenting on the opportunity presented, Bragg Gaming Group Chief Executive Officer Matevz Mazij has said:
"Drayton gives Bragg a direct, credible entry into the US Advance Deposit Wagering market, a diversified portfolio of studio equity interests and proprietary distribution infrastructure that materially expands our content scale."
Bragg Gaming Group has also used the opportunity of the recent acquisition to enact certain changes within its own structure. Matt Davey, Tekkorp Capital founder, has now joined the Board of Directors as Non-Exeutive Chair, and replaces Holly Gagnon.
"Beyond this transaction, our studios continue to expand the breadth of games and features across the platform, including the early application of AI-assisted development tools to help us bring new content to market faster. We see real long-term potential here, and we intend to be direct with shareholders and the market as that work matures," Mazij added, commenting on the acquisition in the meantime.
