The leading content-driven iGaming technology provider that caters to land-based and online gambling operators, Bragg Gaming Group, expanded further its European footprint via a new collaboration. Announced Wednesday, the company confirmed that its content has gone live with Microgame in Italy, the second-largest European online gambling market.
Bragg launched a list of more than 30 of its fan-favorite and popular online casino games for Microgame that are distributed exclusively. Those games are certified for the gambling market in Italy and available via Microgame. Moreover, Bragg confirmed that a launch of additional content, including games from its Indigo Magic and Atomic Slot Lab studios is planned to go live with Microgame soon.
In a statement released on April 12, Microgame's CEO, Marco Castaldo, said: "We are pleased to partner with Bragg to bring their high-quality content to our players in Italy." Finally, he explained: "The introduction of Bragg’s player-popular content is another important step in our commitment to provide local players with great online gaming content."
Expanding its content to the second-largest online gaming market on the Old Continent marks an important step in the growth of Bragg. The new collaboration comes during a busy period for the company, given that it has recently completed launches in strategic jurisdictions in North America, as well as in Europe, including Greece, Germany, the UK, the Netherlands and Switzerland, to name a few.
Back in March, Bragg launched its content with 32Red, a leading operator in the UK market. That deal saw the leading supplier of solutions and content for the iGaming industry deliver its Remote Gaming Server content for the UK-facing gambling operator. As a result, 32Red tapped into fresh games which are expected to boost player retention and acquisition.
Elsewhere, earlier last month, Bragg expanded its US-facing presence. Under a new deal with Resorts Digital and two of its clients - MoheganSunCasino.com and ResortsCasino.com, the company deployed its Remote Gaming Server, expanding the reach of its content in New Jersey. What's more, the collaboration helped expand Bragg's footprint in North America.
Focusing once again on the recent launch in Italy, it undoubtedly marks a strategic move for Bragg. Italy was among the first countries in Europe to start regulating online gambling back in 2006. This helped its market become the second largest on the Old Continent, with expected online gambling revenues of $2.4 billion for 2023, judging by an estimate from H2 Gambling Capital.
Lara Falzon, Bragg's President and Chief Operating Officer, shared her excitement about the recent launch saying: "Our expansion into Italy is another proof point of successful execution on our initiative to be a provider of exciting, player-engaging content to the world’s biggest regulated online gaming markets."
She added: "We are excited to feature our exclusive content as key games in our initial content distribution for Europe’s second largest online market." Last but not least, Falzon said that Bragg is delighted to continue to grow in Europe by delivering engaging and premium content for Italian players.
