Betway becomes Chelsesa FC's European Betting Partner

Leading sports betting company Betway has inked a new partnership with Chelsea FC, one of the Premier League’s biggest soccer clubs. The partnership sees the sportsbook appointed as the club’s Official European Betting Partner.

With this move, Betway adds yet another high-performing soccer club to its long list of partners, having secured many similar moves with both English and foreign clubs over the past months and years, including Nottingham Forest and Arsenal.

As part of the new agreement, Betway will benefit from extensive IP rights and tap into Chelsea’s well-known imagery and likeness to drive various fan-focused initiatives while also broadening the reach of the club.

Among the lined-up experiences that fans would be able to enjoy are exclusive meet-and-greets with players, pitch-side tours, and other hospitality options, as both Betway and Chelsea will work to actively expand their respective footprint while leveraging the club’s promotional heft.

In addition, Betway signage will be available around the circumference of home games with LED screening displaying the company’s logo, and further tap into various social and digital media rights, allowing Betway to draw on the extensive interconnected fanbase Chelease has around the globe.

Chelsea FC Chief Revenue Officer Casper Stylsvig has welcomed this opportunity, arguing that the club was very pleased to welcome Betway as its Official European Betting Partner, and hailing the brand’s commitment to building memorable experiences for fans.

The partnership was welcomed on a similarly upbeat tone by Super Group CEO, Neal Menashe, whose company owns the Betway sportsbook and gaming company.
