BetMGM readies launch of The Traitors franchise

• BetMGM has signed a new IP-focused partnership with All3Media International, bringing fresh franchise-inspired games to its offering
• As a result, the company will be able to offer The Traitors-themed games to its players across the United States specifically
• The first game, The Traitors Faithful Riches, is hitting several markets with BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online

BetMGM, one of the leading iGaming operators and brands in North America, has signed a new exclusive online casino rights partnership with All3Media International, part of Banijay Entertainment, a media and entertainment behemoth.

BetMGM expands content footprint with The Traitors franchise

The partnership allows BetMGM to develop dedicated experiences for the all-time blockbuster TV series "The Traitors," with the operator focusing on slots, table games, and non-traditional casino games.

A first game has already been planned by BetMGM. Called The Traitors Faithful Riches, the game will be available at BetMGM Casino in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

The title will also launch with Borgata Online in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The game is developed by Games Global, a company that has extensive experience in developing such exclusive titles for operators.

In The Traitors' Faithful Riches, players will find 1,024 paylines and a 5x4 grid across which the action takes place. Players will also have the opportunity to relive the thrill of the show in which secret alliances are formed and hidden rewards await.

IP-focused part of BetMGM’s content strategy

Among the built-in mechanics that players have to look at are such options as The Traitors Bonus and the eponymous The Traitor Feature. Commenting on this opportunity, BetMGM SVP of Gaming Oliver Bartlett had this to say:

"The Traitors has captivated millions with its blend of suspense and strategy. Those qualities create a compelling foundation for an online slot, allowing fans to engage with the franchise in a new way while capturing the intrigue and drama that made the show a cultural phenomenon."

BetMGM has been leaning heavily on TV and movie IP to expand its content library, with the All3Media International partnership hailed as an opportunity to achieve just that, Bartlett explained.

The BetMGM game comes at a time when the latest season of the show, The Traitors: New Blood.

The focus on exclusive content deals allows BetMGM to expand its reach and pull with iGaming customers by offering them options that no other could.
