BetMGM launches Double-Up Blackjack with Score Gaming

BetMGM has teamed up with Score Gaming, a company that specializes in the development of table games for the iGaming industry, to introduce Double-Up Blackjack, a new version of the classic card game, Casino Guru News learned in an email press release.

The new title is now available at BetMGM’s online casinos, the namesake BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online in New Jersey. Players will have the opportunity to try and play for bigger money by doubling their wager on any 2-card hand, and naturally the option won’t apply if you draw a natural blackjack.

The double-up function lets you double the size of your original bet after you see your cards. Score Gaming has worked around some of the common worries that players may have, which dictates that should the dealer has a 16, the players can never lose. This is incorporated in the "End 16 Rule" which is designed for this exact purpose.

Score Gaming is also a company that has developed a string of side bets for various games and has created significant expertise in this particular aspect of game development. Double-Up Blackjack is no different in this regard, as the game comes with the special 16 Bonus side bet which will let the player win if the dealer’s cards total 16, with payouts of up to 500x.

The game is a clever addition to the range of titles offered by BetMGM and its online casinos, as blackjack remains one of the most popular options for visitors of those properties. Score Gaming Founder and President Merrill Sparago MD has been very happy with the opportunity to build a brand-new game and introduce it to BetMGM’s audiences.

Sparago said that the company has been particularly happy to take its End 16 rule and introduce it to new gaming communities. The collaboration was similarly welcomed by BetMGM VP of Gaming Product Oliver Bartlett who said that Double-Up Blackjack was indeed a fun and exciting twist of the classic game that is bound to appeal to players.

BetMGM has been very happy to continue developing its online gaming facilities in the Garden State, and recently launched a campaign featuring Vanessa Hudgens who promoted the online casino for the company.

The company also recently introduced the Borgata Arcade collection of game to further strengthen the Borgata Online Casino in the state.
