BetMGM continues to improve its online casino offer, creating fresh experiences for players to enjoy through the addition of the brand-new Progressive SideBet Jackpots feature that will now apply to 200 of its casino games. The feature has been launched with the company’s online casino in Michigan.

New feature to offer players more ways to win playing their favorite BetMGM games

The pot will start at $500,000, with a sidebet triggering a random chance of winning the six-figure-plus reward. This way, players will have an additional way to explore payout potential, with the feature hailed as a new way to expand the player experience by BetMGM VP of Gaming, Oliver Bartlett.

The system works on a tiered level, with four options available - Mini, Minor, Major and Mega, and players may place a $0.10 side bet to receive a random chance to win even more from their regular gameplay on a game they already enjoy.

The jackpot is accumulated through a contribution from every bet, with the total growing every time a player bets but doesn’t immediately win. Once a jackpot is won, it resets to the original guaranteed amount. The company is offering it on 200 titles presently, but the number may yet increase.

The other jackpots are locked in at a minimum of $100 for Mini, $6,000 for Minor, and $30,000 for Major. The introduction of a side bet that accumulates the prize across hundreds of games is a smart move by BetMGM and is essentially something that has become increasingly popular, with Hard Rock Bet Casino using a similar promotion.
