The leading developer of games, powering online gambling operators across the globe, Air Dice Group, announced it achieved an important milestone. The company confirmed Monday that it secured an important license, marking its entry into the iGaming sector in North America. Air Dice secured a license from the gambling regulator in Ontario, Canada, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

The recently secured business-to-business license effectively paves the way for the company's expansion in the province. Securing the license enables Air Dice to deliver its games to licensed operators in Ontario, Canada's most populous province. Ever since the province legalized its online gambling sector, it has been enjoying growth and expansion and this success comes as no surprise considering its population which is nearly 15 million people.

In a statement, Erkki Nikunen, Air Dice's Partner and CBDO, acknowledged the importance of the newly secured license. He explained that the important announcement follows the success of the company at ICE London, where it was able to engage with new potential partners and customers. Nikunen added that the company finds it exciting to secure a B2B license in Ontario.

He said: "Air Dice as a business has expanded across multiple regulated jurisdictions throughout 2023. The Ontario license is a further example of our business commitment to regulatory compliance and the exemplary standards of our games and responsible gambling technology and focus as a company as we look to expand our business in North America."

Finally, Nikunen pointed out: "We look forward to having our games portfolio, including Wild Shifter, Gunslinger Legends: Bounty Hunter, Flaming Bombs, Fire Lion and much more, available to Ontario operators as one of the largest regulated markets in Canada and North America."

Last summer, Air Dice, along with MGA Games, secured B2B licenses in Sweden. The announcement came in June when the duo were awarded licenses by the gambling regulator in the European country. This enabled Air Dice to continue its expansion and allow its games to reach new players within the market.
