A welcome sign.

Ainsworth Game Technology, a gaming giant committed to strengthening land-based and iGaming in North America, has picked Nancy Ramirez Ayala as the company’s new SVP, General Counsel and Group Compliance Officer.

The appointment of Ayala sees her step into an important position as Ainsworth Game Technology navigates the ever-shifting landscape for gambling operations across the region. Ayala is a well-seasoned veteran who has worked across various realms of the gambling industry, and beyond, accumulating knowledge about gaming compliance, online gambling, and intellectual property.

She understands both the legal and business side of operations, which is what makes her such a good fit in the first place according to Ainsworth Chief Executive Officer Herald Neumann who welcomed her appointment and hailed her track record in dealing with the legal and compliance side of the gaming industry as a whole. Neumann had this to say, commenting on Ayala’s appointment:

"She is exactly the right person with the right experience to shepherd us through the period of growth we are undergoing now. We look forward to working with her as she moves into this role, and we continue to take on the challenges of the changing and growing markets we serve."

Ayala does have extensive experience in the sector, having worked in various but similar positions for other well-established companies. Her LinkedIn profile reveals that she did a stint with Rush Street Interactive as VP of Legal and she similarly worked for William Hill US as Assistant General Counsel and Intellectual Property Counsel.

Ayala herself felt similarly happy to be stepping into the position and become a part of Ainsworth’s ambitious plans for the future. She vowed to help the company through her expertise and knowledge of the sector and steer it towards the realization of its goals and ambitions.

"I look forward to helping the company grow and contributing my expertise as we move through the opportunities and challenges ahead of us," Ayla noted. Ayala understands both the gaming as well as sports betting side of the industry making her an invaluable pick for Ainsworth.
