Nuvei Corporation has revealed a new partnership with 888, a leading global sports betting and iGaming operator, which will now work with the payment provider to strengthen its payment capabilities in the United States – an important market for both companies.

888 is determined to establish its presence in the fast-evolving iGaming market in the United States, and improving the payment experience for customers is the way to go. The company is tapping into Nuvei’s superior tech platform, leveraging its extensive acquiring reach and instant bank-to-bank payments.

Nuvei is also well-versed in iGaming markets and understands how payments should work to both enhancethe consumerexperience and manage risk. The pair have already been working together, delivering similar payment solutions for customers and improving the overall experience across the board. The new partnership significantly strengthens 888’s payment capabilities in the United States.

Commenting on this new opportunity, Nuvei Chair and CEO Philip Fayer welcomed the partnership expansion with 888 and said that the company was determined to assist 888 in its global push, in the United States and beyond. Fayer said that deposits and withdrawals are critical to winning customers in the United States and worldwide, adding:

"Optimizing card payment acceptance is a key component of the cashier experience, and Nuvei has decades of experience supporting operators to maximize their revenue growth."

Thanks to this new tech, 888 players can cash out their money instantly, making for a seamless cashier experience. This is facilitated by the Nuvei Instant Bank Transfer, which is the first payment method in the United States tailored to the needs of the iGaming industry to allow for account-to-account deposits and payouts that happen instantly.

888 VP of US Marketing Noam Klivitzky was similarly happy with the partnership and said that seamless deposit and withdrawal of consumer funds is "critical" to engaging and retaining customers. Klivitzky added that his company was committed to offering the most comprehensive offering and experience in the market, and that started with the cashier section, which is now bolstered by Nuvei’s Instant Bank Transfer solution.

"Nuvei has a rich heritage of enabling iGaming operators to maximize their payments’ performance in regulated markets across the globe," Klivitzky concluded. 888 is continuing to strengthen its operations in the United States, as the company appointed a new Chief Executive Officer recently, with Per Widerström set to assume the role on October 16, 2023.
